Bringing the Canvas family together IRL!
Our online creator community is all kinds of awesome. And we have a sneaking suspicion that y’all are pretty incredible in real life, too. So we’ve created a small, in-person event that will take place in our beautiful hometown of Birmingham, Alabama.
You’ll spend a full day learning from amazing creators, meeting kindred spirits, and soaking in inspiration.
Whether you’re already rocking a creative business or you’re a hobbyist looking to start one, this is the event for you. We’d love it if you joined us!

(And maybe even a sneak peek at our next big Canvas product!)
Our speakers will share actionable, expert insights that will leave you feeling energized and ready to grow your creative business.
Here’s a taste of what you’ll learn:
🎥 All things content: Creating it, organizing it, sharing it.
🏡 Work-life balance: Avoiding burn-out and making time for fun.
📣 Audience growth: Reaching more people while staying authentic.
And because spontaneous meetings can sow the seeds of amazing collaborations, we’re giving you plenty of time to mingle and meet fellow creators.
We’re also aiming for a slower tempo than your average event, so you’ll have space to rest and reset throughout the day.
The full schedule will be up soon!
WHERE IT'S HAPPENING
Birmingham, Alabama
Our Southern home is buzzing with the energy of a reimagined industrial town. And it’s got a terrific food scene, with cafes, bakeries, and restaurants galore.
We’ve scheduled generous lunch breaks to give you time to taste your way around town. Might we suggest our favorite French bistro, Chez Fonfon?
It’s one of multiple Birmingham restaurants with a James Beard-awarded chef.
Then there’s the cool architecture, collegetown vibe, and… Homewood, where Canvas Live is happening.
Homewood’s a hip, artsy, walkable neighborhood filled with local businesses and the kind of creative flavor that’s just right for our community.
It also has great bars for after-hours conversations and hatching creative collabs with your new-found friends.
