The same quality and functionality as a brand new Canvas Lamp - just with a few scars. :) Our scratch and dent collection consists of products that do not meet the specifications of "brand new" products, either because of manufacturing errors or defects, or because they've been lightly used and returned to us in good condition.

Additionally, all scratch and dent items are also protected by the same 1 year warranty that is included with all new Canvas products. Our testing regimen for all scratch and dent products includes:

Initial Inspection - exhaustive review to identify any defects or repairs needed. We ask the question, "what can we do to make this lamp like new?"
Mechanical Functionality Test - all products are tested thoroughly to confirm they meet the exact functionality requirements of brand new product Electronics Functionality Test - rigorous electronics testing including multiple on-off power cycles and testing of all light modes and settings
Electronics Longevity Test - all lamps are powered on for a minimum of 2 hours consecutively at full power to confirm proper performance in a real work scenario
Final 30-point inspection - each lamp goes through a detailed final review to confirm that all required repairs have been made, all parts are present and in good working condition, and it overall meets our quality requirements.

Though you should expect to find minor cosmetic imperfections, you'll love your scratch and dent lamp, scars and all! :)
